how did you solved for x2(0)=x(0.5)

There is no

solvingfor ; I just recognized that physical location and velocity are continuous phenomenon (and did a time reset).to get x2(0) = -6.3E-3 he plugged in t=.5 for the x(t) = 2.01E-3 sin(wnt) -48.3t/wn^2 and to get -.696E-3 = xdot2 he took the derivative and solved at t=.5.
