      1. In case you haven't noticed Cramer's rule is an incredible pain in the ass for anything more difficult than the velocity equations in this problem. Instead of dealing with that I wrote a solver for rigid body problems in Python to get through all of these problems quickly. The solver uses the rigid body equations themselves (like how we do rolling without slipping problems) rather than the walk-then-differentiate method employed here. I'm considering releasing the code at some point; if there is sufficient interest then I'll do that sooner than later.
