  1. Is there a problem that you work out here on your website that determines the mass center of a composite rigid body? I believe another name for it is vector "bog." Any suggestions on what videos to refer to to enhance my understanding of locating the center of mass?

    1. Sure, for starters this problem involves finding the center of mass of a body comprised of several simple shapes; so does 5.9. In each of those problems I was referring to the location of the center of mass as \bar x and \bar y.

The variable \vec b_{OG} is most commonly found in base acceleration problems like 5.26. It refers to the vector from the fixed point to the center of gravity.
