Rose-Anne Meissner: Biology and Chemistry Tutor
Howdy, I'm Rose-Anne! I tutor students in biology and chemistry. With more than 90 hours of experience with students at a variety of levels, I caught the tutoring bug and decided to go full-time with this line of work. I love working with students and strive to give each student an amazing tutoring experience. Whenever a student says to me, "Ugh, I really hate this topic!" I consider it a personal challenge to give them a great chance to master a tough topic. I have a PhD in biology, an undergrad major in chemistry, and enough curiosity to fill a swimming pool.
Tutoring subjects: I offer one-on-one or small-group tutoring for general chemistry, general biology, cell biology, molecular biology, and genetics. For Texas A&M University and Blinn College, I have tutored students in the following courses:
Genetics 301 (taught by Dr. John Ellison). This is my most popular tutoring subject. I am, arguably, one of the best tutors for this subject. Feel free to check out my genetics lessons over at my professional blog!
Biology 213: Molecular Cell Biology.
Chem 1412 (General Chemistry II) at Blinn College.
Like Paul, I offer online tutoring. Paul developed the platform that we both use, so head over to his page to learn more. I post lessons, advice, and resources on my blog, so head over there to learn more about me and what I do.
E-mail me at r-meissner@u.northwestern.edu to get in touch with me about online or in-person tutoring. You can also call or text me at 847-644-0782.
Happy learning!
